and explores how our current and past cultural attitudes about women
continue to contribute to rape and violence against women in
our society. |

The show lasts about 1 hour, is organized around 6 performance, music, dance, and video segments illustrating different aspects of rape in our society. The segments are introduced and punctuated by poetry and dialogue where Nancy Hulse draws upon the her own story as a survivor, as well as her many years of experience working with women and victims of violence. |

"A Rose By Any Other Name..." is an ideal vehicle to use to raise awareness about rape on a college campus. It can be incorporated into existing programs sponsored by Women's Centers, Gender Studies Courses, and Student Life / Counseling services:
Anti-violence Projects and Women's History Month Activities.
No other program can create such impact and promote so much dialogue in a little over an hour.
